Join with one business membership and belong to two organizations: Lamoille Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the Lamoille Chamber of Commerce. We have joined forces to build a better business community for Lamoille County.
LEDC seeks to be your first choice in business development. Drawing on our wide array of program offerings, we will tailor a program appropriate for your business venture. From small start-ups to major corporations, it is our goal to help you establish a presence in Lamoille County and grow your business here.
Lamoille Chamber continues the strong tradition of local business support and regional marketing, along with sponsoring our legislative breakfast series to engage our community with government advocacy.
Together we are building a better Lamoille County through job creation, investment, professional services and consulting, business recruitment and retention, economic development, marketing, legislative advocacy and more.
Funding, Services & Support

We offer our members funding, services, and support and we retain a full-time staff to provide these services.
Support for Entrepreneurs
LEDC can help area entrepreneurs by:
- Providing financial advise, assistance and loans
- Assisting with state and regulatory processes
- Providing business and marketing consulting
- Providing special training and other educational opportunities.
LEDC provides these services free of charge to any start-up or existing business in the county that wishes to expand, increase employment, reach new markets and be more successful.
Lending & Financial Support
Helping our economy grow by developing tools and providing business assistance is the core of Vermont’s economic development plan. Putting this assistance together to benefit low-to-moderate income residents is what Lamoille Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) has done with the Lamoille County Revolving Loan Fund.
Marketing Assistance
The Lamoille Economic Development Corporation offers marketing consulting assistance, free of charge to the business community in Lamoille County. If your business needs help creating a profitable marketing plan or needs assistance implementing the technical aspects of online marketing, give LEDC a call.
Website Development Grants
For-profit businesses in Lamoille County, with at least one full-time employee, are eligible to apply for the LEDC Website Development Grant that provides start-up money to create a company’s first website, or to redesign an out-dated website, with our in-house webmaster.
Business Training
In cooperation with the Vermont Small Business Development Center, the Lamoille Economic Development Center offers workshops eight times per year on various topics ranging from marketing, sales, operations, financial issues, technical issues. As a member, your business will be listed on our website, business directory. Each member company has their own detail page, with business logo, description and contact information, including a link to your business website. Our high traffic website, provides exposure for your business and helps get both your business information and images out into the public eye.

Access to VACEplus employer group dental and vision insurance.
Opportunities to attend entrepreneurial events and workshops.
LEDC offers an array of business skills workshops to enhance continuing education on topics such as Leadership Training, Marketing, Finance and Business Management. Our members are also notified about business offerings throughout the county.
Social media and email content announcements and featured business listings.
LEDC and Lamoille Chamber post regularly on social media, including: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We feature business members, comb the news and Vermont government, for information relevant to our members.
Regular email updates on business grant/funding/service opportunities.
Our members are kept up-to-date on various opportunities available to the businesses in our community through regular, concise and useful email communications. Only our paid members, receive all of our communications.

Lending and Financial Support
We assist businesses with their plans for growth, and help our economy grow as well. Members have access to the Lamoille County Revolving Loan Fund.

Marketing Assistance
The Lamoille Economic Development Corporation offers marketing consulting assistance, free of charge to the business community in Lamoille County. We can help create a profitable marketing plan, and train you in the technical aspects of online marketing.
Legislative advocacy for entrepreneurial interests
We work with our legislators and government agencies to advocate for a business-friendly environment that will support our local economic development.
Consultation Regarding Incentives
LEDC offers zero cost consultation about Vermont Employment Growth Incentives, and all other government offerings.
LEDC Website Development Grants Access
The LEDC Website Development Grant provides start-up money to create a company’s first website, or to redesign an out-dated website, with our in-house webmaster.
LEDC/Lamoille Chamber Member Fuel Cost Savings Program
All current LEDC & Lamoille Chamber members can take part in this members-only fuel cost saving program. As part of our partnership with Bourne’s Energy to provide a special pricing program for members and employees of member companies, discounted rates are being offered. If you are a member business or organization that would like to enroll in the program please contact Jon Whittle at Bourne’s Energy for details by emailing jon.whittle@bournes.net. Employees of LEDC/Lamoille Chamber member businesses should contact Bourne’s main office by phone at 802-888-2611.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Annual membership fees give you full membership to both LEDC and the Lamoille Chamber of Commerce, as well as access to all benefits available from both entities.
Our membership year is the fiscal year, July 1st through June 30th.
Your single membership fee will give you access to both organizations and benefits.
