Lamoille Economic Develop Corporation and also “doing business as” Lamoille Chamber of Commerce, is a private not-for-profit corporation (LEDC). 

When you visit our website, lamoilleeconomy.org we will collect certain information.  This Privacy Statement sets forth the current LEDC policy regarding what information we gather from our website and how we use it. LEDC wants to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the controls we give you to access, update, and delete your information. LEDC is committed to protecting your privacy. You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this privacy statement explains data collection and use in those situations.

When you visit our website, we collect information that you provide to us.  For example, when you register for a workshop or event, request visitor or relocation information, sign up for our newsletters.  The information we collect includes your name, business name, phone number, and email address.

When purchasing services on our website, your credit card information is sent in encrypted form to our credit card processor.  This means humans cannot read it.  It also means if someone is intercepting your internet traffic the credit card number is scrambled.  No one can read it except our credit card processing company.

Information We Get When You Use Our Services

Information Provided By You During Our Consulting Services

When you request business counseling services from LEDC, you permit LEDC the use of your name and address for LEDC informational mailings. You understand that any information disclosed will be held in strict confidence. LEDC will not provide your personal information to commercial entitites.

Opt-Out of LEDC Communications

If you submit information and decide that you do not want this information to be used by LEDC, third parties, or for secondary purposes beyond the purpose for which you submit the information, you may opt-out by contacting LEDC by postal mail (PO Box 455, Morrisville, VT 05661), email, info@lamoilleeconomy.org or telephone (802-888-5640). In addition, upon request to the we will provide to a visitor a summary of any personal information retained by LEDC, and the visitor may modify, correct or update their personal record, or direct their personal record be deleted from LEDC’s databases. LEDC will only send personal records to the email address on file for the visitor name associated with it.

LEDCis a general audience site and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
